I interviewed Den'ee, AKA Isys, the emerging artist out of Atlanta. De'nee is multi-talented, following paths in rapping, singing, and acting. She shares with us some exclusive information you won't see anywhere but Free Ambition.
Free Ambition: Where are you from?
Den’ee: “I'm originally from New York
Free Ambition: Where do you live now?
Den’ee: “Atlanta , GA
Free Ambition: What is your talent/business?
Den’ee: “I'm a hip hop artist/actress/entrepreneur.”
Free Ambition: Are you working on your talent/business currently?
Den’ee: “Yes. Recently my main focus has become acting, but I'm still working on my music as well as starting my own label.”
Free Ambition: How long have you been working on it?
Den’ee: “For almost 7 years."

Free Ambition: Who have you worked with?
Den’ee: “I’ve worked with various underground artists such as Ja'twon,
Yung e da boi, Travis Starr, Quam Dazzler...just to name a few.”
Free Ambition: Who inspired you?
Den’ee: “I’ve been a TLC and Salt n Pepper fan since I was young, so they
were a major inspiration. As well as Angela Bassett, and Will Smith for
the acting aspect.”
Free Ambition: Where do you see yourself in a year?
Den’ee: “Hitting stages with major crowd turn outs, having developed my
name more.”
Free Ambition: Where do you shop?
Den’ee: “Lenox! Victoria Secret is my favorite store. Random
boutiques.”
Free Ambition: What is your style?
Den’ee “My style is a mix of business-sexy, urban”
Free Ambition: Who is your favorite artist? Why?
Den’ee: “Young Jeezy, I absolutely love his style, how he keeps it street
and
real regardless. He very rarely goes commercial on his songs.”
