Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly, 34 years old, died Wednesday in an Atlanta Hospital. He was one half of the 90's hip hop duo Kris Kross. The cause of death is unknown, and news of his passing has shocked many fans and those who work in the music industry.

Kriss Kross was created by Jermaine Dupri, after he discovered the musical talents of Kelly, and friend Chris Smith who is also know as "Daddy Mac" at an Atlanta mall.
In 1992, their single "Jump" climbed the charts, leading to an multi-platinum album. Chris Kelly and Chris Smith recently performed at the 20th anniversary concert for So So Def Records.
