Free Ambition: Where are you from?

Ray Best: I am from New Jersey.

Free Ambition: Where do you live now?

Atlanta, GA

Decatur, GA

Ray Best:I live in Decatur, Georgia.

Free Ambition: How long have you been developing your skills as a lyricist?

Ray Best: I've been a writer for 13 years I didn't start writing music until the year of 2010.

Free Ambition: What is your message to the streets in your latest song, "Can't Fuck Wit it"?

Ray Best: The message I'm trying to deliver about this song is more of me expressing my feelings, and to really just show how I can "really bring" It when it comes to me proving that I'm a artist

Free Ambition: Where have you performed?

Ray Best: I have performed in various places, open mic at nightclubs, the V103 radio station audition was a day to remember for me.

Free Ambition: What is your favorite part of being a entertainer?

Ray Best: My favorite part of being entertainer is actually being satisfied with a song I have wrote because I know is going to be a hit!

Free Ambition: Who have you worked with in the music industry?

Ray Best: I have worked with Greg, he's part of a music group called the UN of America which is affiliated with Shawty Red on the track. I've even had a chance to communicate with Zaytoven's manager,

Jeezy & DJ Polo
DJ Polo who works with Zay Is a good friend of mine also so he keeps me up on events and stuff when things are poppin' and last but not least The Charlie Boy Gang.

Free Ambition: I know that you're a mother, how do you keep a balance between your music career and motherhood?

Ray Best: To tell you the truth I don't even know how I do it, but I make it happen. I definitely keep the two separate, and they know when momma goes out at night to do shows...they tell me good luck ma! So they're rooting for me even though I don't allow them to listen to my music.

Free Ambition: As a female Rap artist, what are you going to bring to the game to revive Hip Hop?

Ray BestI'm going to bring my style of rap my style of swag, my independence, but most of all I want to make an impression on the female species. Black, or White doesn't matter. And then my age alone speaks for itself.... (Black don't crack) LOL!

Free Ambition: What do you want your fans to know about you?

Ray Best: I want my fans to know I'm coming through, and making changes for the female industry. Hopefully that will encourage us (women) too not be afraid, to be "You", and to do what we want without shame.

Free Ambition: How can your fans follow you on social media?

Free Ambition: Who inspired you to pursue greatness?

Ray BestFirst of all I'll have to thank my grandmother she inspires me to do anything I want to do, and I've always had a passion for music. So that inspired me, and a couple groups I'm grew up listening to like Three 6 Mafia. I love Tupac, and Young Jeezy. Also a couple of female artists....Yo Yo, Sista Soldier.... talking about back in the days.... Queen Latifah and MC Lyte!

Free Ambition: What has made you stronger as a person?

Ray Best: What has made me stronger as a person is life first of all, and having children. Just being able to stand the rain, my mistakes in life was my biggest lessons and my biggest teachers.

Free Ambition: Where do you see yourself in a year?

Ray BestIn one year I hear myself on the radio, listening to Can't F*** Wit It, haha!

Free Ambition: Where do you shop? What is your personal style?

Ray BestYou won't believe this but I shop wherever I can get a bargain deal because first of all it's not who you wearing or how much it costs... it's how you look in it and baby they can't f*** with it LOL! But yes I love to shop at the mall too!

Free Ambition: Who is your favorite music artist? Why?

Ray Best: Well I have a couple favorite music artists...Tupac Shakur made an impression.

I love Young Jeezy, Lil' Kim, and there's others I just can't put my finger on it.

The reason I love them is because their style of rapping will actually put you in their shoes at that present time and place... the lyrics you can actually relate to.
