Free Ambition: How long have you been in the music business?

 Andreal 'Country Fly' Mallard:
I've been in the business of music all my life. I have a deep rooted history of family members who were musicians and singers.

Free Ambition: Are you a family man?
Andreal 'Country Fly' Mallard:
Yes, I am a family man that is happily married. We have a 5 month old baby girl.

Free Ambition: How long have you been working on your music career?

Andreal 'Country Fly' Mallard: Well about 3 years ago a great guy by the name of Mark King actually inspired me to go back and start making music again. I was at a point where I didn’t want to make music anymore. I wasn’t really thrilled by what I was seeing from the music game at that time.

Free Ambition: How are you currently marketing/promoting yourself?

 Andreal 'Country Fly' Mallard:
I’m marketing and promoting myself through the Internet, shows, mix tape promos, building relationships with different DJ’s. The best thing for me is to network as much as possible.

Free Ambition: What is “Hog Life”? Where did that name come from?

 Andreal 'Country Fly' Mallard:
The “HOG LIFE” name actually came when my cousin, fellow mate TB, Big Nick and myself was sitting on the front porch cooling. We were out there in the streets at that time and we came up with the name “Hustlaz of Georgia” (H.O.G).
The “HOG LIFE” is an experience and it still is. On the other hand, I have an exclusive interview not yet released. There’s a video from 1989 where my Aunt is explaining how my great grandfather beat the Hog. My grandfather headed all the way to a land that he established for his family. He settled there where he began the breeding of Hogs which became a way of life for my family fortune.

Free Ambition: What would you want people to know about Goodness for God? Is there a special message, and how were you inspired to create songs?

Andreal 'Country Fly' Mallard:
The Goodness of God is about His Grace and His Mercy. The message is simple” It’s because of Him that we are here”. His Goodness just continues to carry us even when we don’t deserve it. He loves us that much. We have to put Him first and everything else shall be added unto us.
I was inspired when I met my Pastor Timothy J. McBride. He is the one who reintroduce Christ back into my life. Pastor McBride helped me to build my Faith Walk again. For a little minute, I was out there with the lost but that’s another story.
